Unlock the magic of Belgian chocolate

Welcome to Chocolate Nation! In 14 thematic rooms, we will take you on a 60 to 90 minutes journey and tell you the story of our Belgian chocolate. The tour starts in the cocoa plantations of the equator and follows the cocoa bean to the world’s largest cocoa storage port in Antwerp. A gigantic fantasy machine demonstrates how chocolate is made and where the velvety smooth taste originates from.

During your tour through the museum you will find chocolate traditions, history, brands, products and innovations that have built its worldwide reputation. And of course, you can taste too!

Sunday to Tuesday: 9:30 am to 6:30 pm
First tour starts at 9:45 am - Last tour starts at 5:00 pm
Wednesday to Saturday: 9:30 am to 8:00 pm
First tour starts at 9:45 am - Last tour starts at 6:30 pm

During the Easter holidays (from Saturday 4 to Sunday 19 April), the museum will even be open every day until 8 pm (the last tour starts at 6.30 pm).

After your visit to the museum, we look forward to welcoming you to Octave, Chocolate Nation’s restaurant. At Octave, you’ll find delicious, accessible cuisine with familiar flavours — sometimes with a contemporary twist, sometimes with a surprising chocolate twist, but always utterly delicious. During the day, you can choose your lunch from a tasty Foodbar menu; in the evening, Octave offers a more extensive restaurant experience.

Wed–Thu: 11 am – 9 pm (kitchen until 8 pm)
Fri–Sat: 11 am – 10 pm (kitchen until 9 pm)
Groups & corporate events: 7 days a week by reservation

During the Easter holidays (from Saturday 4 to Sunday 19 April), the Foodbar is open daily from 11 am to 6 pm (kitchen until 5.30 pm). We look forward to welcoming you to the restaurant from Wednesday to Saturday.
