Adding that chocolate touch

Five tips to make your school books more delicious

Back to school, that means covering school books! An annoying job that you can make a lot more fun and tasty in the following way. Grab your stamps, washi tape, nice photos and of course a piece of chocolate. Bet you will enjoy it. Moreover, after this job you will always be happy to take your books from your school bag. Because these books look great ...

1.  Cover your books with a budget-friendly roll of brown cover paper, newspaper or an old paper shopping bag. Mix some nice colors of paint and paint a simple rainbow. Put a little glue on the ends of the rainbow and stick a soft fabric on it. Inspirational quotes are always fun and they give you good cheer while learning or during a boring class. Write them down with stamps, a pen, markers or by typing the quote on your computer, printing it and sticking it on.

2. Polkadots! They are still in fashion right? :D paint them in the same color or in all different colors, big or small. What you like! Use photo corners to attach your best holiday photos. This way you always have your best memories at hand.

3. Stamping fun! Use a larger soft flat eraser (or a potato), draw a design on it, and use lino slices to cut out the pieces that don't match your design. You can use paint for stamping or a stamp pad with ink. Stamp in a fixed pattern, that looks the best.

4. What is possible with polkadots, is also possible with stripes. Find a nice color combination and paint stripes across your covered book in different thicknesses. Complete with the self-made stamps. The lesson subject can also be nicely written on one of the lines.

5. Do you prefer a simple design? Stick or paint a nice border at the bottom and write a nice inspiring quote on it. We have written the course on a label, you can (re) use everything you have left or draw your own label.

Have fun crafting! And toi, toi, toi this school year!
