Chocolate, you build me up

LEGO Masters out of the (chocolate) box

From the chocolate museum to the Efteling: 8 duos compete in iconic locations in revamped LEGO MASTERS Out of the Box

The duos start this adventure first in our chocolate museum and take the term ‘out of the box’ quite literally! While curious passers-by watch live, the teams go all out to amaze both the Brickmaster and the audience with their masterpieces.

We were also curious...Can you really build anything with LEGO bricks?

The assignment

Build a chocolate mould with LEGO to be filled with chocolate. Quite a challenge because you have to build the mould negatively and as chocolate cools, it shrinks. This sometimes leads to breaks or cracks...

The winning Build

Debbie and Wendy have designed a guitar. Although the duo is extremely fond of music, they cannot play any musical instruments themselves. Besides the guitar, the twin sisters also wanted to incorporate the port city of Antwerp in their design. Therefore, they added two little fish carrying the guitar. The little fish symbolise that all music comes in through the port of Antwerp. 'We are proud that the chocolate came out of the moulds whole and that it can be recognised as a guitar. And that it is allowed to stand in this beautiful museum.'

Will you come and admire this surely very unique piece up close? We are open every day
